Moroccan dreams

You have waited so patient, together with us. You have seen the borders close. They told you to stay inside and to wash your fucking dirty hands. You where scared and annoyed. Bored and most of all in need to get outside.

2020 has been a roller coaster for every single person on this planet, our hole life changed. We lost things, people and money. But we never lost hope. Hope that one day we be free to enjoy life like it should, like it used to be. Normal is a vague memory in our mind. We still have the taste of dancing, of traveling on airplanes and exploring the unknown. It’s like a blurry night out still printed in your brain. It has been put in a box and like a hunger softly screaming in your body, telling you an almost lost but not forgotten story of the past.

Remember the salt, it’s still here.

Remember the waves crushing down and breaking down your walls, it is still here.

Remember the joy of meeting new people from all over the world, the rush of a party, the power of the sea, the new tastes of food, the annoying ‘hello welcome to Morocco’.

If we learned something this year then it must be patience. We had a sparkle of hope lighting up on the 6th of September. Government announced opening of Moroccan borders for tourism. Finally, we thought our stunning country was getting ready for the travelers again. Now 7 days later our government decided to put more restrictions and rules to stop the spread of the virus. For 2 weeks long our beaches and souk will be closed, the mayor biggest cities like Marrakesh and Casablanca are on lockdown. The state of emergency is extended until 10th of October.

The surf villa will be open again for bookings from the 16th of October. We are thrilled to announce the start of the 2020 winter season in our villa with probably more empty surfing spots then it have ever been in the last 8 years. OH MY GOD. Yes, we can offer you the real surfers wet dream of how Morocco used to be. You can actually say 2020 has created an unique chance for you so you need to find your way to our villa for the opportunity of a lifetime.
